Founded by partners Brittny Sciarra and Karese Laguerre, respected therapists in the orofacial myofunctional therapy field, Dental Sleep Toolbox promotes the benefits of proper oral resting posture, and trains prospective registered dental hygienists, registered nurses, occupational therapists, and other eligible licensed professionals to offer this in-demand service within their communities. DST's comprehensive #TeamMyo Start course prepares you to support people through the process of eliminating orofacial myofunctional disorders.



Through this Live online course and mentorship provided by us, you'll learn how to:



• Educate patients on how orofacial myofunctional disorders impact health
• Explain to parents how oral habits and improper oral rest posture negatively impacts oral development, sleep, and behavior
• Present and discuss an individualized myofunctional treatment plan with patients and
• Help patients address a variety of specific challenges and circumstances that impact program progression.

Registered dental hygienists are knowledgeable health care providers. Although, often, many only see our ability to "clean teeth." With a career as a myofunctional therapist you are able to apply all your existing oral health, development, and functional education to develop a private practice and impact more patients.


Allied Health providers such as registered nurses, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, physical therapists and physician assistants are aligned in alternative wellness goals and skillset necessary to provide this modality. We have opened our course to this select group of professionals with a special module full of dental knowledge necessary to excel.


Team Myo will teach you:
